Happy Birthday to Evan!

Evan's second birthday is tomorrow, but we spent the whole weekend celebrating. On Saturday, Mom-Mom helped Ev unwrap his first gift.
Dad getting the remote controlled backhoe out of the box.
Dad-Dad shows Ev how it works.
Perfect Evan-sized cake! :o)
Trying to be polite and use our forks...
Oh fooey! Fingers are better! :o)
Then on Sunday, Evan was blessed with another birthday celebration. Pop-Pop helps Ev blow out his candles.
Aunt Lina shows Ev the cool new Halloween book she bought him.
Jeonga helps Ev with his other neat gift from Aunt Lina and Uncle Josh --a giant Magnadoodle!
Halmoni tied a bunch of balloons together for decoration, but they served way better as a way to make Evan crazy.
More craziness...
Earlier in the week, Evan was keeping an eye on Daddy's outside kitty, who he has dubbed Carl.
And of course, I'll throw in a picture of the small one. I refuse to fight with the rotation of the pictures on this thing, so it shall just be crooked.

One Week Already?

First off, I apologize that these photos aren't very exciting. Now that summer is over, there are no more festivals and other activities involving mulitple picture taking opportunities. This weekend, we were able to spend quite a bit of time with the Judy family; however, I failed to take very many pictures of all of the cousins together. Below, Evan still enjoys the tractor at Mom-Mom and Dad-Dad's house.

Ev shows Kate how to pick these small orange "seeds" from Mom-Mom's flower bed.

And of course, Kate will pick a seed and observe it diligently. Evan, naturally, squeezes the life out of each and every seed. Look at these oompa-loompa hands!! Doesn't he know who is mother is?!?! :o)

On Monday, Ryan went to the doctor for his one week check up. He somehow lost a quarter of an inch (I think from his head returning to a normal head shape), but he is in the 95th percentile for his length. He weighed in at 7 pounds 12 ounces, putting him in the 50th percentile. Another tall and lean one, I suppose. :o) Here's a picture of the small one.
And one more for good measure. :o)

Welcome Ryan!

At 5:19 pm on September 15, 2010, Ryan David Judy became the newest member of the Judy family. He weighed in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, and measured 22 inches long.

The new family.

Mom-Mom and Dad-Dad stopped in for a quick visit.

As did Halmoni and Pop-Pop.

And Aunt Lina.

Evan giving Ryan a kiss when he came home from the hospital.

My boys! :o)

A peaceful nap.

A duplicate photo? Nope. It's his spitting image brother at the same age. :o) We'll see if they continue to look the same as they both get older! Is it possible to have two kids with blue eyes if neither parent does? :o)

Yep, Still Crazy!

Evan's first bubble bath = Bubble Baths FOREVER! He loved it!
Yummy corn on the cob!
He is very possessive over his new SpongeBob jammies... heaven forbid we take them off to put some regular clothes on!
Cheesing up his rainy-day outfit.
Helping Dad clean out the front flower bed.
Grade-A Goober Face while taking a spin in the Mega Blocks Wagon. :o)
Evan demonstrates the proper use for ktichen utensils:

Happy 80th to Grandma!

Josh's Grandma turns 80 this coming week, so there was a big celebration in Chesapeake City, MD for her. Ev enjoys some fine dining with Dad-Dad.
Afterwards, we all headed back to Jared and Gina's house so the cousins could play. Evan and Kate worked on this alphabet puzzle with Mom-Mom.
All of the kiddos getting some grub.
Play ball! :o)
And this was from earlier in the week. This is Evan's new hobby... of course the part that lets us allow him to "be a boy" is the padded couch for a bit softer landing.

Dancing Boy

Somehow, Eric Church's "Smoke a Little Smoke" became "Evan's Song". Probably because he does this every time it comes on!

Weekend with Leah

Evan was super excited to get to spend a weekend with Leah and Isaac again. Here, Leah shows Evan how to work the soothing center.
Then we took the kiddos to this little creek down the street from Jared and Gina's house. It was a little murky for my taste, but they look like they had fun! :o)
Small wardrobe change and then checking to see how little man Isaac is doing.
Sharing the trike.
A little outdoor pong.
Too cute! :o)
Evan and Leah couldn't get enough sharing Dad/Uncle Josh! They loved being thrown in the air all weekend, and using him to hang off of. We had a lot of lessons in taking turns... :o)
Ev giving Rowdy some love.
Collecting acorns in the woods.
Pointing out all of the bubbles.
Here's a small taste of these crazies together:
Jumping!

And spinning!
