Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving Day at Towson with Mom-Mom, Dad-Dad, Jess, Jenn and Kate. With a little bit of practice with the self-timer, we managed a family photo!

Ev discovered this drum and loved it. And of course, nothing is complete without a hat! Josh made this tunnel for Kate and Ev. It lasted about two trips before they bumped heads and it was all over. The flannel boys! Then we spent Thanksgiving Friday at Lina and Josh's house. Ev learns to do push ups with Pop-Pop.

Ryan showing some smiles.
Because I'm a sucker for coordinating outfits (see flannel photo above!)...
Awww! :o)
Then we spent Saturday getting our tree! Ev liked helping Dad put up the lights.
And more lights...
And some ornaments.

And more ornaments...
This is what our tree would look like if we let Ev put all of the ornaments on... :o)
And finally, Evan is practicing running out on to the Delaware football field through the smoke. Now:

Ryan is Two Months!

Ryan had his two month check up this past week, where he weighed in at 12 pounds (75%) and measured 24.25 inches long (90%). Evan keeps Ryan company during his tummy time.
Everything is the same old, same old with Ev. "Out. Pears" appears to be his mantra these days. The tree is quite bear of pears in his reach though...
We did, however, find another tree with pears in reach!
And back to old favorites -- throwing grass over the fence for the goats.
And this video is from last week, and I had to combine two parts together, but here is our resident copy cat! :o)

Now that Ryan is starting to be awake a little more, he is starting to act a little more interesting, which means more pictures. :o)
His cute post-bath look.
Ryan does a good job holding his head up when he's upright (probably from all of the raring back he did/does during his colic tirades), but there's not a whole lot of head-lifting effort during tummy time...
Making Pop-Pop smile.
Evan and Ryan hanging out with Pop-Pop.
Evan suffered another head injury early this week, which resulted in a lot of blood and a nice shiner on his forehead. We had to distract him by offering M&Ms if he went potty, so here you go! :o)
Testing out the tricycle at Halmoni and Pop-Pop's house.
A little help...
I am quite proud of these Cars slippers that I found at Toys 'R Us!! They even have little plush wheels that stick off the sides! Ev loves them and shows them off with some matching Cars jammies.
Dad lets Ev be a big boy in the woods.

Happy November

This weekend, we took Evan with us to the UD Homecoming game. He was completely fascinated with everything, especially the drums in the marching band! And of course, the opposing team's mascot, the Towson Tiger, which prompted a "rahhh!!" every time he laid eyes on him. :o) Here, Ev and Leah are watching the game with Mom-Mom and Dad-Dad.
"Why yes, I am enjoying a kiwi at a football game!"
Ryan strikes a pose while he sleeps.
Ryan watching Evan watching Ryan in his seat. Does that make sense? Ryan does love his big brother -- he smiles and coos whenever he sees Ev!
Ev petting the praying mantis on the front porch.
There he goes!
