End of April Shenanigans

Ryan on his way to the UD Ag Day, shark in tow as usual.
For some reason, Evan rode the whole way up to UD with this hat on, sweaty as it made him.
Waiting on the rest of the crew to arrive, the boys took a break on some hay bales and ate some raisins.
 Ev is a bee!
Then back at Jared and Gina's, we did some pre-school races.  This is our way of using our children for our entertainment!  :o)
The littles joined in with a bit of a head start...
Our TL died on us one too many times, so we traded it for a Prius this weekend.  The boys helped me pose with "mommy's new car"!  :o)
And in other excitement, we got garage doors this week!
We also took advantage of the beautiful weather and had a cook out in the back yard of our new house.  The boys loved finding little dead sticks and throwing them in.
Evan getting some cuddles in with Jeonga.
 Raisin time with Pop-Pop.
The boys' new thing in the bathtub is for Evan to squirt Ryan with this fish that fills up with water.  Such silly boys - they are two peas in a pod!

Spring Break Catch-Up

Since we had so many pictures from the aquarium last week, I didn't get a chance to post all of our pictures from spring break.  We ended up renting a chipper to get rid of a lot of branches around our lot, and we were lucky enough to have lots of helpers as well!
Although, I'm not sure who let my dad operate the chipper...  :o)
The clean-up crew, picking up the chips.
Snack time!  (This has become a permanent snack location now, which Evan so helpfully pointed out to me when we had a picnic dinner there last night:  "Mommy - we sit on these buckets right here like a table."  Thanks, Ev!)
Evan teaching Ry how to throw rocks like a pro.
 Brothers!
Evan helping daddy continue to clean up our lot with a little chain saw action.
Apparently Home Depot is the only appliance store left with a fun cart!  The boys had fun, and I only hit like two shelves throughout the store...  it's a big car to steer!!  :o)
We had a large piles of stones delivered for our septic system, and the boys could not stay away.  In order to keep them in relatively the same area, we gave them buckets full of water to make splashes with, and they were entertained for HOURS!
Evan defeated the pile!!
Since today was a rainy day, we put on the Little Mermaid after nap.  Evan wanted Ryan to sit with him on his couch, but after his friends joined him, it left little room for Ryan on the couch.  Ry didn't mind though - they're such sweet boys together!

Camden Aquarium!!

On Thursday, we headed up to Miss Gauri's house to spend the night so we were ready first thing in the morning for the aquarium in Camden, NJ.  Now, if only we all had a fun swing in our house...  :o)
We started the day off meeting Gil, one of the aquarium mascots.
The boys are wearing their matching shark shirts from Aunt Lina as they met the penguins.
The boys kept coming back to this tank with lots of cool sharks and fish in it.  They were quite fascinated!
 Yikes!
This was a really neat tunnel where sharks and other fish swam all around us.
One would think the proximity would be quite scary, but the boys loved it.
Catching a ride on the sea turtle.
 Peek-a-boo!  :o)
Waiting patiently for their ice cream while enjoying the view of the Camden waterfront.
 Petting the baby sting rays.
Miss Gauri is all ready to feed the sting rays with her fish.
Ryan was intrigued to pet them, but then when he felt the gooey skin would pull his hand out and shake it off.  Evan was completely enamored by it all!
Evan's first sting ray feeding success!
Family photo with the newly acquired shark friends.
It was a great day, where Ryan even stayed up cooperatively until 3:30 without a nap!  We were not even out of the parking lot before his head hit his chest in a deep sleep though.  All in all, it was a great day and we will definitely have to go back to visit the sharks and sting rays!  In the mean time, the boys get to enjoy watching their shark shows on tv with their new friends.  :o)

Happy Easter!!

In preparation for Easter, Pop-Pop and Halmoni came over to help the boys dye some eggs.  Pop-Pop shows Ryan an egg with his name on it.
Halmoni helping Evan see what color his egg is.
Ev checking on his egg.  Not quite yellow enough...
 Waiting... and waiting...
Perfectly yellow!!  :o)  (Notice Ryan gave up and went to coloring in the background...)
Ta-da!!  :o)
And on Easter morning, the boys were happy to see their baskets.
Then we headed over to Mom-Mom and Dad-Dad's house for breakfast, and Kate read some books with Ryan.
Then the whole crew read all the books they could find while Josh was outside hiding the eggs.
 All the egg-hunters are ready!
 Ry found a few...
Then Ev so helpfully pointed some out to Ryan with his toe...
 "I like candy!"
Some in the clubhouse too!
Taking a break from hunting and enjoying their loot.
Then Uncle Jess helped Kate and Ev fly a kite.
Ev resting...
Then Ev showed Kate around our new house.  We now have drywall.
And shutters!!
After naps, we headed over to Aunt Lina and Uncle Josh's house for dinner.  Such silly boys...
More baskets from Pop-Pop and Halmoni!  I'm not sure how many kids get snakes in their Easter baskets...  but Ev absolutely loves it!  :o)
When Uncle Josh came home, it was Evan's turn for a shift.
Another egg hunt!!
Ryan's new favorite thing is m&ms!
