First of all, what happened to our nice, sunny weather?! Crazy... So, back to the warm clothes and indoor play. Ev found out that he can put his cup in the little cup holder on his Lil Kawasaki.
Watching the "brmm-brmms" go by.
Picking grass to feed the cows.

And getting so happy when the grass made it over the fence.
This event occurred earlier in the day when the cows were actually eating the grass thrown over the fence. I apologize for the windy sound of the video, but we just found it hysterical how much grass Josh puts over the fence compared to the few blades that Ev threw over.

This picture was taken a few weeks ago, but I thought I would post it anyway. Josh gets on my case for putting my headband on Evan (he asks for me to help him put on this "hat") because he thinks it makes him look like a girl. Nah... :o)

So, I finally did it -- I chopped my hair off to donate it. It was scary as my hair has never been this short, and I'm still getting used to the new 'do, but I'm glad I did it! :o)

Poor Kitty...

Poor kitty is just trying to protect his territory!

Lil Kawasaki

This was the maiden voyage:

Getting the hang of it... still working on holding the button down while riding. And steering. That might take a while... :o)

Sunny Days

The videos are not currently cooperating with me at the moment, so once again, I must fail at posting a video of Ev on his cool new Kawasaki... (I will try again shortly!) Here is a photo of him trying to give the big beach ball a ride.
Evan loves to have his shoes on lately, and since we just got these awesome new rain boots, we had to wear them! And yes, the hat is always a must too. :o)
We are LOVING the nice days lately! We are spending quite a lot of time outdoors, and nobody knows quite how to act... so we're all going crazy:
Pop-pop stopped by to visit and they modeled their hats.
The slide!
It got a little warm, so Evan stripped down. And of course, he found another pair of shoes to wear!
"Huh?"
Flowers! Well, whatever colored weeds were growing out back... :o)
Looking in on the cows and goats.
Whew! We need a break!

One busy day!

While Josh was going through the Sunday paper, he came across this sale for a "Lil Kawasaki" four-wheeler, and his inner child wanted it for his actual child. So, off we went to Toys R Us! :o) While we were looking for it, Evan came across this John Deere, extremely elaborate, tractor.

"Yee-haw!" :o)
On the way home, we stopped at this park in Camden. It was soaking wet still, so we didn't stay long, but enough to enjoy a little ride on the bouncing beaver.
And long enough to witness what NOBODY should ever do... yes, let us witness some live-action weird sword-fighting thing going on. There were also some bow-and-arrow people. Weird. Just wanted everyone to witness it with us! :o)
Who does this in public??
So, we came home with this horse on a stick...
And the Lil Kawasaki! Evan couldn't wait for Josh to put it together before he was trying to get on it.
All finished! Too bad it requires 18 hours to be charged! So, hopefully we can get some video of that soon.
After that long day, Evan was tired! (We ended up skipping the second nap with all of the commotion and the time change.)
I think he's the only child who actually tries to climb IN his crib!!

Where does he get the energy?!

Evan figures if he hides the diapers then he won't have to get changed anymore.
Ev and Josh heading out to see the "boos" (a.k.a. cows).
Trying to rid the shovel of dirt. 'Atta boy! :o)
"See my ice chunk? It's cold..."
We went bowling this weekend with the Hertzog clan on the Air Force Base. Evan really enjoyed romping around the play area there.
"Can't catch me!!"
Lift with your legs!
Josh or I usually hide behind this wall and scare Ev (he knows we're there...), and this weekend he decided that he was smarter than us and decided it was his turn to hide. The aftermath of us being "surprised" was a TON of screaming...

And one more thing...

"Oh no... you can't be serious!!"
The kid must have ants in his pants!!!
