Post-Bath Tummy Time

Evan gets some cuddles in with his great-grandmother from Korea.
Helping his momma with the laundry...

He caught Diesel! :o) Diesel is so patient as Evan learns to "pet nicely".

Six Months

Evan went for his six month check up today, and everything went fabulous. He weighed in at 16 pounds, 12.5 ounces and measured 26 inches. And as always, he is hanging in there at the 50% mark! :o) He is recovering well from his hospital stay, even though we are still dealing with twice-daily nebulizer treatments. I will take that over the hospital any day though!! :o)
.
Ev helped his Uncle Josh celebrate from graduating from the Delaware State Police Academy on Saturday.

Ev also met Kaylee on Saturday. We went to high school with her parents, and she was born two days before Evan in the same hospital room.

This is our Easter day family photo. It was quite bright and breezy, but we had to take a picture. :o)

Who says kids cramp your style? This past weekend, we wanted to enjoy the nice weather and go to the driving range, so we did. Needless to say, he was the only one in a stroller on the golf course! :o)
However, little did we know that at this time, poor Evan was suffering from bronchiolitis and pneumonia! :o( Evan went to the doctor on Monday to check on his coughing and wheezing, and they ended up admitting him to the hospital. We were there for two days, but we're home and doing much better! We appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers, which is a nice reminder of how blessed we are to have so many people in our lives who care about us!
.
After those two days in the hospital, Ev is ready for a vacation! :o)

A little giggle

How cute is this giggle?

Enjoying some tummy time after his bath. He enjoys it much more when he flips over on his own!
Another nice day leads us outside. I toted Evan around in the sling, and we visited with the cow and goats. It's a shame the baby goats weren't in this picture -- they're so cute!!

Love from Kate

I know these pictures are just a little bit late, but Miss Kate visited last weekend. All she wanted to do was be around and love Evan. Here, she gives one of many hugs to Evan!

Kate also wanted to hold Evan. He's a little bigger than he was at Christmas... :o)

And letting Ev smell her freshly picked daffodils.
The best part was since I didn't bring a coat for Evan, Kate let him borrow her pink hoodie so that we could all go outside together. I bet he wonders why we keep putting him in pink! :o)
