Random

Well, we still don't have a camera after our other one was dropped in the bay; so here are a few from my phone, which was also not sending them when I tried... so, a day late and a dollar short, but oh well. We survived an earthquake AND a hurricane this week, so life is good!! :o)

After searching and searching for his milk that went AWOL, we found it in his play kitchen. Doh!

Evan on cloud 9 watching the garbage truck in our neighborhood. They even honked and waved on the way by!
Yay! Ry-Guy finishing up some food.

This is currently my most favorite picture of Ryan. All smiles when it comes to peaches! :o)

Oops...

I had every intention of posting my blog before I left for my DC training today; however, somebody (not me) accidentally dropped the camera in the bay... Oops. We took Evan and Ryan to the beach on Friday, and while the trip was short for Ryan, they both had a great time. I apologize for the lack of pictures overall for the week. We've been overly busy moving into our rental house and cleaning up our old house since we settle on it this week. (Yikes!!) We hope everyone enjoys their last few days before school starts again!! Hopefully I'll be able to post plenty of pictures soon! :o)

Happy Birthday, Leah!!

Little Miss Leah turned THREE years old this past week!! Based on the amount of cake on her face, and the fact that I believe this is her second piece, I would say she's enjoying it quite a bit! :o)

Ryan thinks it's super fun too!!
The girls love to shower Ryan with hugs and kisses.

Boys' Club meeting.

This falls in the bucket: Daddy makes me do silly things so he can point and laugh... :o)

Other shenanigans from the week include a visit from my boys while I was at work. Yay! It was the highlight of my week! :o)

Ryan quite enjoyed the spinning chair!

You know, I try not to ask too many questions...
We were able to take advantage of my Friday off (due to my new 4-day work week), and took Evan to the Salisbury Zoo. He still loves to watch those otters!

There was a snake demonstration, and we were able to pet it afterwards. They preferred us to pet it with two fingers; however, Evan preferred to give me the "peace" sign with one hand and pet the snake with his other hand. Oh well. I tried to comply!!

Then off to the park at the entrance!

On the way home, we stopped at Mom-Mom and Dad-Dad's house, where Ev was able to use this most awesome chain saw to "help Uncle Jared cut down trees".

The fun Friday came to an abrupt end when Evan decided to taste the asphalt in our driveway... he managed to bite four big gashes in his bottom lip, busted the top lip, and cut his gums.

The aftermath on Saturday morning (and while the puffiness has gone down, it somehow continues to get grosser!)...

The good news is that Halmoni and Jeonga came home from a long summer in Korea today!!! Jeonga brought Evan this book that talks to him in Korean. He was immediately in love with it!

Peeek!! :o)

More Boardwalk and Peach Festival

Sorry for the delay in the blog post, as we were in New Jersey helping to celebrate my friend Gauri's wedding! We didn't get home until super late, so here we are on Monday. I know you're all waiting on the edge of your seat! :o)

This past week, Josh was able to make another trip to the Boardwalk, this time with Jess, Jenn, Kate and Jack. For some reason, Mom-Mom is helping Kate smell Ryan's feet! :o)

Little stroll in the car.
Kate and Evan both loved this jungle gym of ropes and ball pits.

Ryan wants to join too!

Ryan taking a go on the Merry-Go-Round with Daddy.

Back at home, Evan cheesing it up in the bounce house.

Silly boys!

On Saturday morning, I took Evan to the Peach Festival in Camden. We took advantage of all of the free stuff, including this free balloon while we were waiting for the parade.

Free ice-pop!

And free face painting, which ended up on his hand. See my spider?? :o)
