Wagoneers

Pool Time

Ev enjoyed shooting some hoops with Grandpop Joe and Benny.
Splish splash!!
Aunt Lina helps Ev attack my feet.
Using the pool noodle to stand on his own.

Ocean City

Thanks to Josh's brother's neighbors, we were able to get a nice weekend in a townhouse in Ocean City, MD. The house was super close to the beach and a mini-golf course, which were both really fun, and we had such a great time with Jesse, Jenn, their future sister-in-law Heather, and Kate! I don't have any pictures of Evan actually ON the beach, but here are some that I did manage to catch.
.
A little shopping...
The back of the house led right down to this little pier where we could feed the ducks.
"Quack, quack!"
Use the beer case to help me stand? Sure! :o)
On the way home, we stopped at Taco Bell for some lunch. Ev enjoys being the table topper!

Crazy Boy

It takes a lot of imagination to keep our little terror under control these days! :o) He likes to go into rooms and shut the door behind him, as well as open all of the kitchen cabinets and empty them. (We're working on the whole cabinet locks thing...) And pretty much anything he comes across, he tries to destroy. So, in turn, we must find plenty to keep him busy.

Ev enjoys attacking and being attacked by his large stuffed lamb.
Helping Dad unpack our shipment of photo albums.
Enjoying the big box tunnel!
"Um, okay, it's a little cramped..."

We like it clean!

As much as Evan likes to crawl around, he refuses to crawl in the grass. Perhaps we won't be having a picnic any time soon... :o)

Hertzog family pic! :o)
My grandmother on my mom's side just went back to Korea last week after being here for six months, so we had to take the opportunity to take a family photo. In case you are unaware, there is the two Joshs, Lina, my mom's mom, my dad's mom, my mom, me and Ev, and my dad.
The little explorer is often under the table.
Apparently, we pushed Ev a little too long. He was too sleepy to read his book...
And too sleepy to keep all of his limbs in the crib!

Evan's New Ride

Josh's New Ride

After way too much research in my opinion, Josh finally picked a new car, an Acura TL!! :o) I do believe this is now considered our second child...
Ev helps his dad show off his new car.
This is what happens to little boys who can't ride quietly...
Ev got to drive the car before I did!!

Ten Months

Today is Evan's ten month birthday! He's pretty much crazy, and tries to get into everything to help out as much as possible. And by help out, I mean destroy. :o) At ten months, Evan has acquired another tooth -- however, this is another top tooth. And there is one on the opposite side, but on the bottom that is getting ready to pop through as well. I know teeth are supposed to come in pairs, but this seems like quite the odd couple to me! Hopefully, their respective mates will arrive shortly!

Ev helping to get his bath ready.
Helping Grandad and Grandmom Judy sort tomatoes for the farm.
Loading the dishwasher.
And finally, getting stuff out for dinner.

Ev and his Animals

Evan has grown quite the fascination for animals. He loves to chase our two cats around, as well as anything else he can get close to! Here, Ava Passwaters shows Ev her sheep at the State Fair. (This weird thing won't let me rotate the picture... it shows up fine everywhere else!)
A baby turtle that Josh found.
We are still working on the whole "gentle" part. For the record, I did not think the chick was a good idea!! Poor little birdie...

And speaking of one of those cats... Dozer is not Evan's biggest fan...
