Bouncy Seat

Here is Ev in his bouncy seat that he loves so much. Putting him in his seat gives us a good 30 minutes to get stuff done around the house or eat dinner. Excuse the russeling of the bags in the background, as Josh was unpacking groceries. :o)

Last week, Evan rolled over from back to front for the first time! Here is his look of surprise... in a larger version of the picture, you can see his bottom two teeth, but I had to shrink it so it could fit on the blog. They are coming up quite nicely, so hopefully we can get a picture of them pretty soon.

Taking a walk around the yard, Evan enjoys the front carrier.

Ev enjoys some QT with his Daddy watching college basketball.

A country boy at heart.

A Boy or a Monkey?

We couldn't let the whole winter go by and not use this adorable cold-weather monkey suit! (And who doesn't enjoy making their kids do things so that you can laugh at them??) The weather wasn't too terrible outside on Saturday, but chilly enough to put this bad boy into our repertoire of outfits. It was not sure if Evan truly enjoyed the outfit, or if he was just laughing because the rest of us could not stop laughing! :o)
We took him outside to get a load of the swing that his cousin Kate loves so much. He just sat there, frozen in time, as we let him fly through the air. We're hoping the warmer air will bring happier swinging! :o)

Five Months

At five months, Evan has two little bottom teeth! He is still super drooly, so I wonder if his top two teeth are coming in as well. We have started him on the different cereals and he has since tried carrots and sweet potatoes, which he loves! Evan did not have a doctor's appointment this month, so we do not have a formal weight and height measurment, but I assure you that he is growing because I packed up all of his three month clothes last weekend! Craziness.
.
Evan hasn't quite mastered rolling over from back to front, but he is so close! He is in this position quite often...
The weather was extremely nice yesterday, so we took Evan on his first stroll around the yard. Evan, meet the bush.It was quite breezy outside, and the wind in his face made him gasp and then laugh.
More breezy fun.

Adventures of Diesel

These pictures are from a few weekends ago when Katelyn took it upon herself to catch Diesel. Here, she has spotted him...
But Diesel has other plans. He's not sticking around to find out what Kate has in mind for fun and games!
All of this stress made Diesel need a nice warm, relaxing bath... :o) We filled the bathtub up with water in preparation for the snow storm last week, and apparently, we deprive our cats of water to the point where he has to walk into the tub for a drink. What a weird kitty!! :o)
