Happy Birthday, Little Ry-Guy!

I guess since I skipped last week's post, I have double the pictures to share.  Here's Halmoni and her boys!
Ev and Ry waiting in the back of Dad-Dad's truck, out of harm's way...
... as he pulled this tree down while Josh worked the chain saw on it.
Then it's play time!  They thought for sure they were in the jungle...
Our first fire in our new fire pit.
The boys love to "play pumpkins" while on barn duty.
Evan practicing writing his letters with chalk.
Then on Saturday, we were able to gather with our family to celebrate our little Ryan turn two years old.  Some dinner pics...
More lounging diners...
And, naturally, Evan in the woods swinging big sticks around like it's his job.  :o)
Caden in on some woods action.
Ryan being super tall on a stump.
My dinosaur cake that I made!  I was quite proud of it - I didn't expect such results, especially since I bothced a batch of dinosaur cookies immediately prior to this!  :o)
Ryan tried to stifle his smile as everyone sang to him, but we could tell he was overjoyed!
 Cake boy!
Aunt Lina loves her cake too!  :o)
For some reason, our camera has developed these dark spots...  most of them are camoflauged by leaves or a shoe or something, but not here - right in my face...  but it's a good picture anyway, so here it is.  (Kind of weird how we still continue to dress similarly when we don't plan it... happens way more than is coincidental!)
Ryan loved unwrapping all of his presents.
His new T-Rex watching on as he tries out Evan's laptop.
Post birthday cookie...  he didn't particularly care for it, but refused to let anyone eat it for him.  Instead, he lugged it around outside, collecting dirt on it all morning, resting it on the sidewalk, etc.  Silly boy!
Evan helping Pop-Pop with the drain pipes for our gutters.
The shovel crew at it again, burying our newly installed drain pipe.

Happy Labor Day!

Pop-Pop helping Caden and Ryan build a Lego tower.
 Evan drawing some chalk dolphins.
The shovel crew, about to distribute the dump truck load of dirt in our yard.
Or just climb to the top and jump off...
The next day, though the pile was not as tall, Ryan took a face plant and ate some dirt...  yuck!
Then, we got to spend the weekend with Leah and Isaac while their parents attended an out-of-state wedding.  They loved bouncing from one thing to the next...  from the trampoline...
... to the sandbox...
 ... to the tractors!
I put the big kids to work, pushing their little brothers in the swings.
On Sunday, we went to the Salisbury Zoo.  We always enjoy watching the silly otters...
Silly kiddos.
The kiddos getting "tattooed".  This volunteer had a row of stamps, and they each picked one (or two) to decorate their arms.
Later that evening, the boys enjoyed some kiddie pool time at Caden's house.
And some bounce-house time!  They loved hopping from the pool to the bounce house, which got quite slippery...

Crazy kids...

Taylor and Evan being quite silly...

McDonald's Play Place

Ryan was just a little too small to hit up the McDonald's play place all by himself.  Luckily for him, Evan was there to lend a helping hand...  :o)

(Looks like I have to do this video thing one at a time...)
