Happy Father's Day!

I know this post is a week late, but we had quite a few pictures from Westmoreland, and I wanted to give these pictures their proper respect. :o)

Pop-Pop got to spend Father's Day with his grandsons - Evan, Ryan and Caden.

Josh and Evan in the pool.
Ryan only took a quick dip, and I guess not long enough to get a picture with Daddy. Here's one with Pop-Pop though - his little trouble-making buddy! :o)

Some random pictures from the past few weeks:

Evan showing Ryan how to work the microwave, in his big-boy-underpants no less!

Our little tree frog sleeping. :o)

Silly boys!

Evan bugging Pop-Pop while he trying to take a nap.

We went to help celebrate Josh's grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary last weekend. Kate wanted Evan to dance with her in the worst way. They look cute, but Evan only took about three minutes of his before he broke down and bailed. :o)

Evan earned his "bop bag" after giving up his pacifier. (Woohoo - big boy!!) He certainly loves being rambunctious with it!!! It has even made its appearance in the bounce house! :o)

Evan helping Ryan with his teether.

Evan found a bunch of tiny little toads while walking in the woods with Josh, so he was showing Ryan his new friends. (I'm not even asking why they're in the house... I was at work... oh, those boys!)

And a swinging Ryan to round out the week. :o)

Order of Events

I guess because I managed to salvage some of the previous blog I tired to post with Westmoreland pictures, it posted below my "Apologies" post. So, scroll way down and see our pictures from last week. And for some reason, it would only let me do one video, so here's another one with Evan reeling in his own fish.

In additional news, Ryan went to the doctor today for his 9-month check up. He weighed in at 17 pounds 13 ounces (10%), and measured 29.75 inches long (90%). He showed the doctor four lovely teeth, and we were instructed to ween him off his reflux medication - yay!! :o) Our little boy has taken off crawling at lightening speed, and he will race you to the bathroom to be able to play with the cabinet door. Silly goose!! :o)

Apologies...

So, I apologize for the lack of blog posting last week. I believe it was the first time in about two years that I've missed my weekly post!! However, we were staying at the Westmoreland State Park in Virginia. This has been a Judy family tradition for quite some time, but we took a small hiatis from it after college. Last week, though, all of managed to make it to the park for at least part of the week. Here is the crew:

I have fought with this blog for the past few hours, as well as our computer, which refuses to start when we ask it to. As a result of that and me having to return to work tomorrow after having a week off, I will take a break and attempt to load more pictures later this week. Apologies again!!

Westmoreland!!

I'm not sure if this is going to post properly, but it saved some of the stuff when it crashed on me the other night. So, I'm going to salvage what I can and hope for the best! :o)

Jack and Ryan in matching shirts (actually unplanned for once!).
Evan taking a nap in the car on the way down. We tried to prop him up...
In backwoods style we bathed our kids in the pool... what is one to do when the cabins don't have bathtubs or deep sinks???
Evan, the splasher, and loving it!
First day at the pool, and Ryan enjoys a bottle with Dad-Dad.
Fam in the pool.
Beach boy!
Josh's first fish of the week.

Jenn and Jack fishing.

Josh and Gina doing the seine net.

Daddy and Evan fishing.

Mom-Mom and her beach boys.

Aunt Erica showing the boys a little frog she found.

Daddy and Evan taking he boat for its maiden voyage.

Ryan loving the kiddie pool, which he used as his aqua walker. It was the perfect height to stand in this floaty and walk around the pool, chasing a beach ball.Uncle Josh introduced the water guns, then paid the price!

Evan was so tired after the morning at the beach and pool, he couldn't even keep his head up while walking back to the car.

Our crab feast was a little foiled by a storm, so we had to bring it inside. How many people can you cram into a tiny cabin meant to sleep four? We managed 10 adults and 6 littles!

Then, the storm caused the power to go out. Soooo... we busted out some fireworks to keep everyone entertained. And, we needed some light! :o)

Leah and her sparkler.

The girls wanted to hold Evan's hands. Silly goobers!! :o)

Exploring on the beach with Daddy, looking for shark teeth.

Name those prints!

That would be Evan walking on his tip toes... :o)

Me and my boys:

Aunt Erica getting some Ryan cuddles.

Kate and Leah playing ball.

Uncle Jas taking the bike for a spin. And yes, that's picture worthy!! :o)

Dad-Dad and Ev having a laugh.

How am I supposed to take a picture if you crawl right at me? :o)

Bubbles!!

Looks like the face of innocence, doesn't it??

Josh getting to hit golf balls over the cliff.

To continue with the tradition of cutting down trees, Evan proceeded to take sticks and use them as saws all week on bigger trees. With this also came "bzzzz" sounds, ALL DAY!! :o)

Slly boy going head first down the twirly slide.

Sliding buddies.

More sawing...

Matching jammies!!! :o)

I am pretty sure I could not love this little skirt for Leah's bathing suit any more!!

Little Isaac exploring.

Ev catching fish.

Synchronized rocking.

Evan taking his morning milk on the couch with his books, blue blanket, and Woody the Otter.
When Josh told Evan we had to start packing up to go home, he grabbed all of his stuff and jumped back into bed. He loved his time at Westmoreland! (And yes, he slept in our room with us since Ryan had a little bit of an adjustment to a new room. Each morning, Evan would give me a kiss on cheek and crawl into bed to snuggle. What a sweet boy!!)

Poppers!!!
