Happy Birthday Isaac!!

On the eve of Isaac's birthday, the tots snuggled on the couch.

 Then they read some books with Mom-Mom.

 Gina made some awesome chocolate chip pancakes for Isaac's birthday breakfast, and then we rocked some donuts.  Isaac only turns two once!!  :o)

 We took the opportunity to update the Judy cousins photo.  Instead of bring paired with siblings, they were placed in (reverse) age order - Jack (1), Ryan (18 months), Isaac (2), Evan (3), Leah (3), and Kate (4).  Of course, we can't forget the 7th Judy grandchild - Beagle.  :o)

Happy Birthday, Caden!!

Oddly enough, I don't have any pictures of the birthday boy on his first birthday!  I was busy taking pictures with Lina's camera, and we somehow missed one on our own camera.  We did, however, get pictures of all of the cake eaters - Ry-Ry with Halmoni:

 A small, naked boy escaped the bathroom while I was trying to get Evan out of the tub and ran down to the living room.  Then he peed in the hall.  It's a good thing he's so cute!

I'm not sure who is happier getting knocked down - the boys falling, or Daddy doing the tripping...

Circus Time!

Last Friday, Evan did a Jillian Michaels workout with me and thought it was super fun.  This week, they came home and crashed the end of my workout, and Evan picked right up where he left off.  He gets his "weights" (empty vitamin bottles) and gets right in with the side lunges.  And yes, I realize my motion does not currently match the screen - I'm probably about 3 reps behind...  :o)

 Ryan enjoying this new rocking horse given to us by our current neighbor.  He was a sweet older gentleman, who couldn't see well enough to make out our faces while we talked to him.  After he took his dog for a walk, he brought over this rocking horse for our boys that he made when he had his vision and loved to do wood work.  So sweet!!

 On Saturday, we headed to the circus with Halmoni and Pop-Pop!!!!  Before the show, we got to go "backstage" and see the animals.

 And we even got to sit close enough while they brought out this elephant to do a few tricks.

 And not even halfway through, Ryan fell asleep...  he slept hard enough that he survived the transfer to my shoulder and stayed asleep for over an hour.

 And with one nap at the circus, who needs another??  Sleepy boys (don't let the smiles fool you!) enjoying a post-circus snack.

 Despite the FREEZING wet cold, it was exciting to see the progress on our house!  I'm sure once they put the front door on, we won't get to come spy on it as much...

Busy first week of February!

January Hodge-Podge

Ryan loves hats!  You've seen the small ones, now here's a big one:

 Ryan learned to hold his own banana this weekend (and take small bites...), and now there is no other way...

 Yes, we give haircuts in the shower...  Evan was quite hairy and in severe need of this shave-down!!  :o)

 And some house progress - it's getting vertical!!!  :o)

Musical Boys

 Then they stole his chair!  I left the room and I guess Evan helped Ryan up, so when I came back, they were rocking and saying, "rock... rock..."

 I went to get Ryan after his nap, and he looked like this...  and quite happy with himself, I might add!

 Ry coloring with Mom-Mom.  But every time he saw the pre-flash light, he would sit up and say "CHEESE!!"

Evan cannot get enough of Eric Church!  Here he is singing along to "Drink in My Hand" and imitating the hand motions.  It's way more appropriate than "Smoke a Little Smoke", don't you think?  :o)
