On Thursday, we headed up to Miss Gauri's house to spend the night so we were ready first thing in the morning for the aquarium in Camden, NJ. Now, if only we all had a fun swing in our house... :o)
We started the day off meeting Gil, one of the aquarium mascots.
The boys are wearing their matching shark shirts from Aunt Lina as they met the penguins.
The boys kept coming back to this tank with lots of cool sharks and fish in it. They were quite fascinated!
Yikes!
This was a really neat tunnel where sharks and other fish swam all around us.
One would think the proximity would be quite scary, but the boys loved it.
Catching a ride on the sea turtle.
Peek-a-boo! :o)
Waiting patiently for their ice cream while enjoying the view of the Camden waterfront.
Petting the baby sting rays.
Miss Gauri is all ready to feed the sting rays with her fish.
Ryan was intrigued to pet them, but then when he felt the gooey skin would pull his hand out and shake it off. Evan was completely enamored by it all!
Evan's first sting ray feeding success!
Family photo with the newly acquired shark friends.
It was a great day, where Ryan even stayed up cooperatively until 3:30 without a nap! We were not even out of the parking lot before his head hit his chest in a deep sleep though. All in all, it was a great day and we will definitely have to go back to visit the sharks and sting rays! In the mean time, the boys get to enjoy watching their shark shows on tv with their new friends. :o)
